Affinity stores only what it needs to give you an account and sync your data across devices. You can use most of the app signed-out, without an account, in which case your data stays on your device.

When you sign in, we store: your account identity from your sign-in provider (email, and the display name / avatar from Google if you use Google sign-in); the username you choose; and the content you create — decks, games, playgroups, notes, gamification progress, interface preferences, feedback you send us, and device push-notification tokens (if you enable notifications).

We rely on a few third-party services to run Affinity, and share data with them only as needed: Clerk (authentication and account management), Google (OAuth sign-in, if you choose it), Railway (application hosting and database), and Sentry (crash and performance diagnostics, tagged with your account id). Donations, if enabled, are handled by PayPal. Push notifications are delivered via the web push and Expo push services. Scryfall provides card data and images and receives none of your personal data.

Your session and some caches are kept in your browser or device storage so the app loads quickly and stays signed in. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account removes the decks, games, and other content tied to it.

Affinity is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Affinity is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it reliable and accurate, but we are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

Affinity is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or Scryfall.

Acceptable use: do not abuse the service, scrape or overload the API, or attempt to bypass access controls. Usernames must not impersonate others, or be offensive, misleading, or infringing — we may reclaim or change any username that breaks this.

You keep ownership of the content you create (your decks, notes, and game records). By using shared and social features you grant Affinity permission to display that content to the people you share it with, so those features can work.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and may update these terms as the app evolves; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of France.
